The original image for this shirt is a woodcut titled "Christ Breaks the Rifle" by Otto Pankok made in 1950. During the reign of Hitler, Pankok was defamed as a "degenerate artist" by the Nazis because of his deep concern for the suffering and marginalized. These shirts are printed locally by our friends at Camden Printworks on fair-trade shirts, with eco-friendly water-based ink, creating local jobs.
